Description of BSc (Hons) Business and Management with Information Systems
The BSc (Hons) Business and Management with Information Systems bachelors degree programme provides a sound background in information systems, and teaches the knowledge and skills required in the use of current technology, techniques and tools for Business, industry and commerce. These skills will help students to appreciate where and how information systems can be effective, and to help with their design, procurement, management and use.
By combining core Business and Management courses with a range of relevant Information Systems courses, the BSc (Hons) Business and Management with Information Systems programme is uniquely designed to produce business graduates with a sound knowledge and understanding of how technology can be applied to problems in such areas as management, administration, industrial automation, large-scale manufacturing, resource allocation, retail and service industries, aerospace, education and health care.
Teaching for the BSc (Hons) Business and Management with Information Systems Bsc is carried out through a combination of formal lectures supported by tutorials and seminars.
