Program description

The International Event Management course provides a combination of theoretical and practical modules, equipping students with the knowledge, experience and skills needed to professionally manage events ranging from organising a small business conference to a major music festival. An optional placement year provides an excellent opportunity to gain contacts, professional experience and an advantage in the job market. Teaching staff have extensive professional experience including corporate, cultural and sport and students benefit from visiting guest speakers and field trips. The course is taught at the university's Eastbourne campus, and students have the option to specialise after the first year to graduate with International Event Management with Marketing or Sport.
