About this program
This programme has been informed by consultation with laboratory managers and NHS training staff. It consists of specialist modules in the cellular sciences that explore the theoretical, applied and professional aspects of clinical histopathology and cytopathology. Designed to complement the professional qualifications of the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), the course allows you to expand your knowledge and skills in diagnostic laboratory medicine; to apply these skills to clinical diagnosis, laboratory management and research; and to develop as a reflective practitioner, all within the context of the Modernising Scientific Careers (MSC) initiative.
