Young university with an old soul
Despite its historical roots dating back to 1852, the University of Antwerp is a young university with an old soul, consistently ranking well in the Times Higher Education and QS Young University Rankings.
Worldwide, the university is ranked 131st in the THE World University Rankings. The Faculty of Business and Economics is placed 93rd in the European Business Schools ranking. Our Master in Business Economics obtained 88th place in the Financial Times Master in Management ranking, and was awarded 7th place in terms of value for money.

Scholarships & funding
The UAntwerp offers tuition fee reductions as a form of scholarship to international, non-EU students with demonstrated academic excellence. This waiver reduces the fee from 5.800€ per academic year to 3.100€. Besides that, the Flemish Ministry of Education awards a competitive Master Mind Scholarship to outstanding students. This includes a grant of € 8.200 plus a tuition fee waiver per academic year.

As an international student, you have access to plenty of facilities like a library, spacious classrooms, study spaces, an array of helpful student services, and campus doctors. And, with your UAntwerp MOVE pass, you can take part in free group fitness classes, visit museums and exhibitions, get discounts at local gyms, etc.
Campuses
All classes for Business and Economics students take place at the City Campus (Stadscampus), right in the heart of Antwerp.
Student lifestyle
Antwerp has everything to offer to its international students. This pocket-sized city with its lively atmosphere and historical charm will have you falling in love in no time. You'll find Antwerp's past shining through while walking through medieval-looking streets or while admiring one of the 43 museums. At the same time, you'll find it is also a modern, vibrant city with a lot of bars, restaurants and local specialties (aka beer, chocolates and fries) to try. Over 500.000 citizens from 178 nationalities call Antwerp their home. Most people speak multiple languages and are very willing to talk to you about their favorite spot.
Accommodation
The university does not have student dorms on campus, however it is fairly easy to find student accommodation nearby. The offer of student housing on the private market is big. We advise you to look for student accommodation through ‘Kotweb’. And if you have questions, our International Housing Office is there to help you.
