Program description

M. in Physiotherapy and Disability

The training offered by the Master responds to a social need and to the requirement of the professional physiotherapist who works daily with people with traumatic, neurological conditions, etc., and who needs constant updating and deepening.

Currently, the implantation of new therapeutic procedures in the Physiotherapy Area is being developed. It must be investigated in the different clinical cases for their integration in different health systems that allow a comprehensive approach to the patient in line with multidisciplinary work developed by other health professionals. Suggested profile for newly enrolled students: The applicant's profile will have the basic scientific studies to understand, interpret, analyse and explain the knowledge of the field of physiotherapy and disability.

Course taught in Spanish and some components taught in English

The applicant's profile will preferably be that of a student with the basic scientific knowledge necessary to understand, interpret, analyze and explain the knowledge of the field of physiotherapy and disability. In addition, it will be valued to demonstrate autonomous learning skills and skills to define objectives, develop plans and select performance techniques, as well as attitudes and values that promote an ethical commitment to proceed appropriately in a situation raised in professional practice. On the other hand, the applicant should have acquired a series of skills that contribute to developing the following skills: synthesis, problem solving and decision-making, teamwork and collaboration with other professionals, self-criticism and the ability to update.
