Pastoral Studies offers you vocational and theological training if you are currently involved in ministry or interested in the field. If you have academic and pastoral experience but don't wish to undertake specialised research, the School of Divinity, History and Philosophy offers you a one year Diploma in Pastoral Studies.
The programme offers you a theological and vocational training if you have a particular interest in pastoral ministry. It is open to anyone but is particularly useful if you are entering or currently involved in the ministry.
The programme is based on a curriculum from which you must choose three subjects and an assessed fieldwork placement. Although the course is primarily in pastoral and practical theology, it is possible for you to include some studies in biblical studies and systematic theology.
