The Executive Master's program in Digital Communication for Sustainable Luxury and Fashion (entirely conducted in English) addresses the needs of graduates and professionals in an unprecedented time of change for the luxury sector for business and communication.

The program is designed for participants who:

  • plan to further develop their career in luxury or develop new business activities in the sector – as well as optimize existing ones
  • understand the strategic role of innovative communication and wish to compete effectively in the new highly digitalized market.

Graduates with proven experience in the sector and professionals eager to evolve or accelerate their career to meet current trends in the luxury industry. Previous work experience is desirable. Excellent command of English is mandatory.

Unit 1: Innovative Strategies for Luxury Business

Unit 2: Fundamentals of Sustainable Luxury and Fashion

Unit 3: Luxury & Fashion Communication Strategies

Unit 4: Digital Luxury and Fashion Communication

Unit 5: Omnichannel Communication for Luxury and Fashion Internationally

Unit 6: Social Media Communication in Luxury and Fashion

Unit 7: Innovation in Communicating the Brand: the Expert Talk

Unit 8: Field Project MILANO Luxury and Fashion LAB

Unit 9: Internship/Personal Professional Project

Alternatively, participants may substitute the internship with an individual project in which they receive one-on-one coaching sessions to develop their personal business project (extra fee required).

Program delivery

Today’s market presents new challenges for small and medium-sized companies in the luxury business. Despite complex circumstances, luxury still offers opportunities for growth through analysis and creative adaptation to market changes.

The course is divided into 9 units (with an option to attend single units), each guided by a prominent expert:

  • 6 themed units in specific luxury business and communication fields
  • 1 unit “The Expert Talks” features live cases of celebrated brands in the luxury and fashion business and communication
  • 1 unit for the MILANO Luxury and Fashion Lab final Field Project (group work and coaching for a business project) in cooperation with a leading brand of the luxury Made-in-Italy
  • 1 internship (3-6 months) or personal professional project

As a participant, you will:

  • gain appropriate tools and skills needed to fulfill the needs of new luxury customer segments
  • acquire digital skills and innovative communication tools to perform effectively in an evolving luxury market
  • focus on the new luxury trend, such as digitalization and sustainability, and learn multichannel communication strategies to deal with the customers’ demands
  • Deepen the new winning tools and ICTs to enhance luxury and fashion brands' identity and engagement
