Master’s Degree in Physical Anthropology: Evolution and Human Biodiversity

Master in colaboration with Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, Universidad de Alcalá de Henares y Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Integral knowledge about human diversity and interaction, that shows main problems in modern society and possible remedies.

General objectives: theoretical knowledge about genetic and ambiental human aspects, human history and how to work with them in biosanitary and educative sciences. How to apply political protection in different periods of the human vital cicle, the sensible ones, from an evolutionary, ecological and genetic standpoint.

Specific objectives: the use and interpretation of statistical resources lead to Forensic Antropology, Bioarchaeology, Biohistory and museum studies. Anthropometrics and cuality of life, and Anthropogenetics.

Admission requirements

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree equivalent to spanish that allows the access to Master’s courses in similar areas to Physical Anthropology.

Previous knowledge or experience in Biosanitary, os Social Sciences such as Archaeology, Cultural Anthropology, Biotechnology, Sport and Physical Activity Sciences. Applicants must include a motivation letter outlining their aims and expectations.
