Program description

Master's Degree in ICT Research and Innovation (i2-ICT)

This master program is adequate for those students that want to start a research career or to work in leading start-up companies with a strong research component. By coursing this master, the students will be able to start Ph.D. studies. Furthermore, the master has a high number of subjects that the student can choose from, unlike other master programs taught at Escuela Politécnica Superior de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. It consists of 60 ECTS, which means that it can be finished in only one year. The master thesis comprises 12 ECTS. Last, there are four different itineraries that the student can follow: Computational Intelligence, User-oriented software, biomedical informatics, and biometric security and video surveillance.

Admission requirements

We are looking for graduates in computer science, telecommunications, other engineering degrees, mathematics, physics, biology or medicine, or similar degrees. Only some of the courses are taught in English, which means that a minimum level of Spanish is adviced.
