Tyndale Seminary
A Christian university in Toronto offering a wide range of programs at the undergraduate, seminary & graduate levels. Built on over 125 years of history, Tyndale alumni are working in private, public and not-for-profit industries.
Tyndale University is a Christian institution of higher education standing in the Protestant Evangelical tradition. With all Christians East and West, North and South, we affirm the historic Apostles’ and Nicene creeds, and we affirm our spiritual kinship with all who seek to exalt and serve the Lord Jesus Christ.
Tyndale University’s undergraduate education, rooted in the humanities, arts and sciences, seeks to deepen knowledge, cultivate wisdom and develop character to serve Christ and the world. In 2003, as the result of a vigorous and thorough review by the Postsecondary Education Assessment Board (PEQAB), and their recommendation to the Ministry of Colleges & Universities that Tyndale has the ability to meet or exceed the requirements of delivering undergraduate and seminary/graduate programs, Tyndale was granted authority to offer a Bachelor of Arts degree. More recently, in early 2020, following another robust review by PEQAB and their recommendation to the Ministry, Ministerial consent was granted to use the name Tyndale University. Effective December 2020 Tyndale’s name was legally changed to Tyndale University.
As a recognized degree-granting institution, Tyndale grants Bachelor of Arts degrees, including Honours degrees in the arts, business administration and social sciences, under authority granted by the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
