Program description

ONLINE: Acting - For Camera

Central is excited to have specially re-purposed its Camera acting course for online provision whilst maintaining the fundamental qualities of the process. You will be working in a virtual group on Zoom with one of our experienced online tutors.

To replace working together in a scene on a set, you will be directed remotely by the tutor and provided with the technical know-how to record your individual shots, which you will submit to the tutor, who will then edit together with your scene partner’s to create the edited scene.

Course Overview:

Working with a film industry professional, prepare and work on monologues, duologues and scenes from a range of television, commercial and film genres.

General Guidelines:

  • Please dress in clothes that are comfortable to move in
  • All workshops take place online using Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to you the day before the workshop date with further instructions.
