Bachelor of Science in Writing for Film & TV (Online)
Are you interested in cinematic storytelling? Learn to write well-structured stories with vivid, compelling characters to create scripts for film, TV and immersive media. Our online program prepares you to tell your unique story by exploring the screenwriting process from early creation to the final pitch.
Our Bachelor of Science in Writing for Film & TV Degree Program challenges you to grow as a writer and storyteller. You’ll learn the elements of character, dialogue, scene, setting, texture and tone, which are at the core of well-structured stories. You’ll learn the conventions of the writing craft, network with your peers on discussion boards and pitch the stories you create, all while learning how to polish your narrative writing skills.
To be eligible for admission, applicants to an associate’s or full bachelor’s degree program must be a high school graduate or possess a recognized high school equivalency (GED® – General Education Diploma or HiSET Exam Scores).
An applicant to a bachelor’s degree completion program must have an associate’s degree from a recognized accredited institution.
