Bachelor of Science in Animation (Online)
Studios use computer graphics in nearly every aspect of today’s entertainment industry, from creating entire environments and characters in video games to storyboarding and developing special effects. Learn the skills used by professional animation studios and discover what you can create!
Our Bachelor of Science degree in Animation begins with the fundamentals of computer-generated art. We focus on the practical applications of 3D computer graphics and teach you how to work with the same hardware and software used by industry animators to develop the computer-animated elements you see in film, games, commercials and more. You’ll learn model creation, character animation and other skills necessary for a solid foundation in digital art creation then you’ll select a concentration in Character Animation,Visual Effects or Environment & Character Design.
