Program description

Our Law program is for those of you looking to take your legal career to new heights.

The program offers challenging, highly academic law coursework with opportunities to discover yourself through some inspirational and immersive cultural activities and excursions.

This program, as part of a collaboration with The Buchmann Faculty of Law at TAU, is aimed at international law students looking for challenging and inspirational law studies as they continue their journey of discovery.

Expect classes to broaden your legal knowledge: you’ll be exploring contemporary challenges to law that stem from the processes of globalization to specific courses on legal and social systems, the ongoing complexities of the Middle East region, and the legal aspects of this world-renowned Start-up Nation.

Program Highlights

  • Enjoy a broad selection of unique and challenging coursework. Your Israel law experience will begin with a mandatory intensive Hebrew Ulpan, followed by unmissable courses to challenge and expand your legal mind.
  • Explore the wonders of Israel via some fascinating overnight excursions across the country, together with full support and 24/7 emergency access to the TAU International Student Life Team.
  • Enjoy a diverse Campus Life, with some 30,000 students comprised of both international and local students

Admission requirements

Application open to undergraduate students enrolled at accredited institutions of higher education with a minimum 3.0 GPA (80/100). 
​Background in Law or Pre-Law courses recommended.

Scholarships & funding

Both international students and Israeli residents studying at Tel Aviv University International may be eligible for a range of scholarships and financial supports. We encourage you to review the different options available to you via our site as well as your home communities and institutions.

Program delivery

In case of restrictions connected to the COVID-19 situation, please note that this program has put in place an alternative of long-distance learning. If physical presence is not possible, you will be able to participate in your courses remotely and once permitted, resume them in person without this affecting your ability to complete the program.

During the fall semester, the program will be operating under a hybrid model offering in-person/online classes. If physical presence is not possible, you will be able to participate in your courses remotely and complete your program within the scheduled timeframe.
