About this program

MA in Migration Studies

From the Mediterranean migrant crisis to continuing debates on free movement in Europe, these issues are at the forefront of today's discussions around global migration and policy.

The M.A. in Global Migration and Policy is an interdisciplinary program that will offer you the opportunity to critically engage on the global issues that are at the forefront of today’s migration and policy debates. Your curriculum will focus on the theories, research tools, and analytical models that cover topics such as immigration and citizenship policies; perspectives on refugees, asylum seekers and humanitarian aid; and the challenges of social, cultural and economic integration.

Program Highlights

  • You’ll be challenged and stretched by a world-leading faculty and expert practitioners in the field of migration.
  • Experience specialization in the global migration and policy fields, and reinforce that learned knowledge with hands-on professional workshops.
  • Spend a fascinating semester abroad in one of several exchange programs at universities affiliated with TAU. (Note that this track is not open to students whose enrollment in the Migration Studies program is supported by United States Federal Student Aid due to restrictions on the use of such aid.)
  • Enjoy cultural evening activities and overnight excursions around the country, in addition to the coursework.
