MA in Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Program description

MA in Conflict Resolution and Mediation

The International M.A. Program in Conflict Resolution and Mediation will equip you with the tools for effective analysis, mediation and negotiation strategies, and conflict resolution frameworks in the international arena. You'll also earn a certificate from TAU for the program's workshop in International Mediation.

You’ll be taught by experts in the field who have first-hand knowledge and experience in deep-rooted conflicts. The program is unique in its interdisciplinary nature and its emphasis on mixing the theoretical, the practical and the experiential. Some topics relate specifically to the history and conflict resolution dynamics of the Middle East.

  • Take onboard the theoretical knowledge while simultaneously training in practical skills such as mediation, negotiation, and facilitation.
  • Enjoy cultural evening activities and overnight excursions around the country, in addition to the coursework.
  • An optional 1-year thesis track is available

The Skills I have gained in the TAU MA in Conflict Resolution and Mediation Program, ranging from negotiations to understanding complex political matters, gave me a leg-up in pursuing jobs. I was even given a preliminary offer with the US government during my first semester based on this.
