International Teacher Education for Primary Schools (ITEPS)

The Bachelor in International Teacher Education in Primary Schools provides students with a specialized knowledge of international primary school teaching. The four year course is an ideal education program for students who are interested in teaching at international primary schools and would like to work abroad.

Upon completion of the four year course students will be prepared for the competitive job market. Within the programme students will gain experience and knowledge in areas such as getting children to focus on their work, how to make the classes you teach successful and figuring out how children think. Throughout the course students will learn Dutch as during the second and third years students will have teaching practice at international schools in The Netherlands. Students will also choose a specialisation from a wide range of subjects. The final year will consist of students conducting practical research while completing teaching practice.
