The Institute of Executive Capabilities (IEC) is an institute of Steinbeis University, a state-approved and the most prestigious private university in Germany. Working with high profile academic institutions, enterprises and non-profit organizations in Germany and beyond, the Steinbeis University offers transfer- and practice-oriented project competence studies.
Currently, the Steinbeis University has over 8 000 students of all ages, nations and professional backgrounds. The IEC itself has a very diverse student body with students coming from over 40 different countries and fields of expertise. This diversity provides the students with the exposure that they need to be able to work in international and multicultural environments, which eventually ready themselves to compete in a global workforce. With innovative and consequently transfer-oriented study and certificate programs, the IEC strengthens the capability of employees and executives to handle increasing performance requirements on the basic of future-oriented competencies, mindsets, and practices.
