Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna located in Pisa, Italy is a public university and holds a unique position within the Italian higher education system. It is both a university and a college, offering Masters and PhD courses on its own while providing undergraduate courses in conjunction with the University of Pisa.
The Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna is a unique education and research model which attracts students and researchers from all over Italy and abroad; it is active in the fields of experimental sciences (Agriculture Sciences, Engineering, and Medical Sciences) and social sciences (Economics and Management, Law, Political Science).
Masters and PhD courses attract highly accomplished students and scholars from all around the world (about 30% of the PhD students are from outside Italy). Scholarships are offered, but only to highly proficient students.
