Program description

Criminal Justice MS

Through this Master of Science, students will explore policy analysis and practice, in particular its relevancy to community and urban issues and public safety. Students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge required to pursue successful employment or further graduate studies within policy analysis.

Admission requirements

Candidates wishing to apply for this program must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor degree from an accredited college or university
  • Have completed a statistics course&;(students may be required to take a data analysis or a statistics course if not taken previously)
  • Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Complete a personal interview
  • Submit the following:
    • Official transcripts of previously completed undergraduate and graduate course work
    • Two writing samples, one of which is a personal statement
    • Two letters of recommendation
    • Scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE),
  • Complete a graduate application.

International students
