Master in European Union and China (Interuniversity With the Open University of Madrid)

It is recognized that the European Union is the most advanced of the experiences of the integration processes in the world. As the Treaties were reformed, from 1957 to the present, the Community and then the European Union, have received a greater number of competences and, consequently, have occupied an increasingly relevant space in the political, economic, and social life of the States that form it building a legal and political system, of international recognition, a fact that has mobilized public attention. In turn, China in recent decades has experienced an exponential growth of its economy. To a greater extent, pursuing a prolonged internal growth and a population rebalancing. Once this is achieved, China now turns to the outside, and is in full development of its foreign political program known as "The new Silk Road". This will be one of the backbone of this master's degree, since it aims to train adults and young people in the new role that China plays on the international stage.

The requirements for access to the proposed title are according to article 16 of Royal Decree 1393/2007, modified by Royal Decree 861/2010, of July 2:

  1. To access the official master's degree programs, it will be necessary to hold an official university degree from Spain or another one issued by a higher education institution belonging to another member state of the European Higher Education Area, which will authorize access to university master education.
  2. Likewise, graduates may access according to educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area without the need for homologation of their degrees, after verification by the University that they accredit a level of education equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that they authorize in the issuing country the title for access to postgraduate education. The access by this way will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous title of the one in possession of the interested party, nor its recognition for other purposes than that of studying the Master's degree.
