Forestry and Natural Resources Training (CA)

This Reedley College Natural Resources Degree offers students an opportunity to become a technician in a wide variety of outdoor jobs related to wildlife, recreation, and environmental services. Classes include academic and extensive hands-on training within a 700-acre RC forest and a 1.5-mile riparian zone on campus along the Kings River. The program includes paid or volunteer work experience during which students study on the job, usually as employees of the U.S. Forest Service or other agency and private resource entities.

Admission requirements

International Students

  1. File a completed application with the Admissions Office.
  2. Submit one transcript in English translation of all work completed in high school and college along with the results of any general matriculation or school leaving examinations.
  3. Submit an affidavit of financial support.
  4. Submit evidence of a negative tuberculin skin test taken in the U.S. not more than six months prior to entering college.
  5. Show proof of medical insurance or purchase insurance offered through the college.
