Molecular Pathology integrates genomics and bioinformatics with modern pathology to underpin molecular diagnostics, theranostics and clinical trials delivery within the academic, health services and industry sectors in an era of precision medicine. You’ll benefit from our research standing in this area: we have an international reputation for the application of Molecular Pathology in high quality translational research, and we have established an integrated research environment through the creation of the Northern Ireland Molecular Pathology Laboratory (NIMPL) and the Northern Ireland Biobank (NIB).
