About this program

(BBPAPM) Associate Degree in Business – Project Management

Students will learn the fundamentals of project controls management and project management, as well as be introduced to the business discipline, during this program. Throughout the course, a structured approach is used to allow students to build their competencies in the business discipline. The primary goal of the course is for the student to demonstrate mastery in the business discipline throughout their time there in order for them to be a valuable asset to any business or project in which they are involved.

This program expands on more advanced project management methods, processes, and principles, as well as introduces students to the project management discipline. It focuses on portfolio management, a program, and multiple projects in various industries. The module is organized in a systematic way, allowing students to develop their competencies for the specific discipline in question. The course’s main goal is to demonstrate proficiency in this discipline so that the student can be a valuable asset to any project in which they are involved. The module delves into the various industries that use project management and how they benefit from this management style. It covers topics such as concepts, life cycles, project teams, communication, and document control. It focuses on risks, procurement, human resources, quality, communication, stakeholders, and integration management, as well as estimating, costing, and planning, as well as their control. In this module, we also build on what we learned in PCiBS-MGT-160 and apply what we learned in that module to the course assignments. This module contains some assignments that will be included in a Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) that must be presented during this program.

In any industry, project controls management and project management are essential skills to have.

On campus studies are available as a bespoke option.
