Global Tourism & Hospitality Management Advanced Diploma

Launch a career in international tourism by combining post-graduate business studies with valuable workplace experience. Qualify for leadership and management opportunities in resorts, hotels, restaurants and other special interest tourism operations.

Admission requirements

  1. Minimum 2 year Diploma or 3 year Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. Including the following:
  2. C in one of Provincial English 12, English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, NIC ENG-096, or ENG-098; or C+ in ESL-092 and ESL-095; or equivalent assessment; and
  3. C+ in Foundations of Math 11; or C in one of Pre-calculus 11, Principles of Math 11, Applications of Math 12, NIC MAT-053 or MAT-055; or equivalent assessment.

Tuition fees

The full tuition price for domestic students for year 1 is $2875; year 2 is $3230. The price for International students for year 1 is $12150; year 2 is $13500.

Career opportunities

As a graduate, you will qualify for leadership and management opportunities in luxurious hotels and resorts across the tourism and hospitality industry, including hotel and restaurant management, human resources management, sales and marketing management and hotel revenue/ financial management.

Some graduates have chosen to operate their own tourism business, while others choose to work in small or large tourism organizations on Vancouver Island, Whistler, Vancouver and around the world.
