Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, Accounting
Gain fundamental marketing and communications skills to qualify for management-level positions. Make employer connections and earn academic credit as you participate in paid co-op work experience, international exchange and networking opportunities. After graduating, be prepared to move into the CPA Professional Education Program.
Third and fourth-year studies include advanced financial accounting, managerial accounting, advanced cost accounting, taxation, auditing, accounting theory, international business, business ethics, advanced entrepreneurial studies and business strategy. To qualify for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree credential, you must complete all required program courses and electives (or equivalent transfer credits) for a total of 120 credits.
Admission requirements
- C+ in one of Provincial English 12, English Studies 12, English First Peoples 12, NIC ENG-060, ENG-096, or ENG-098; or C+ in ESL-092 and ESL-095; or English assessment; and
- C+ in Foundations of Math 11 or NIC MAT-055; or C in one of Principles of Math 11, Pre-Calculus 11, Applications of Math 12, NIC MAT-053; or Math Assessment;
- Or, CPA-CGA designation to enter CPA Bridging Pathway;
- Or, CPA-CMA designation to enter CPA Bridging Pathway;
- Or, permission of the department.
