Study a BSc in physiotherapy in Poland!
The bachelor of science in physiotherapy program lasts 3 years and is taught entirely in English. The program constitutes a comprehensive combination of theoretical and practical aspects of physical therapy.
Physiotherapy deals with eliminating the repercussions of disease, alleviating disease processes and their effects, and restoring human psychophysical efficiency.
Topics based on various forms of physical energy occurring in the human environment, such as movement and thermal, mechanical, electrical, light, chemical, and other types of stimuli will be explored.
The curriculum covers such subjects as:
- Basic medical sciences
- Motor skills education
- Advanced first aid
- Summer and winter training camps
- Clinical physiotherapy in different medical specialties
- Manual therapy
- Therapeutic massage
- Orthopaedics and traumatology
- Balneology and spa physiotherapy
The curriculum also includes work placements during each academic year in physiotherapy and kinesitherapy clinics and hospital wards.
Graduates of the 3-year BSc in physiotherapy program are prepared and competent to provide various therapeutic services, including systemic rehabilitation (after traumas, surgeries, in chronic diseases), pulmonary, neurological, cardiac and geriatric rehabilitation, or the treatment of children in coma.
Students wishing to enter the program should meet the following requirements:
- English proficiency such as FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC 2, BEC (3), CEIBT - certificates issued by the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (at least "pass"); IELTS (at least 6.5 points); TOEFL 500 in tests, at least 3.5 points in writing test (TWE) and 200 in speaking exam (TSE) issued by Education Testing Service

Tuition fee for 1st year students admitted in 2015/2016 is 30,000 PLN per year. The amount of tuition fee for subsequent years of study is calculated using annual CPI rate of inflation (not higher than 5%) published in Official Journal of the Republic of Poland "Monitor Polski”.
Additional fees include: 2,000 PLN for obligatory 1-month preparatory course; 2,000 PLN guarantee fee for students accepted on the basis of Rector's decision.
