Nanyang Technological University
A research-intensive public university, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) has 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in the colleges of Engineering, Business, Science, and Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, and its Interdisciplinary Graduate School. NTU’s Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine was established jointly with Imperial College London.
A cosmopolitan international university, NTU has more than 100 nationalities on its campus. With more than 300 academic partners, international exchange students are a common sight on the sprawling campus.
Believing in the benefits of global exposure and immersion for its students, NTU aims to have at least 8 in 10 undergraduates go overseas at least once during the course of their studies.
This can be through student exchanges, summer programs, field trips, research attachments, internships and industrial attachments, competitions, conferences and more.
- My banyan tree residence: When NTU’s three newest halls of residence are ready in September, another 2,000 more students will call NTU “home”.
- Dorm sweet dorm: At the NTU halls, students wind down together after classes and bond over activities such as hall suppers, night cycling and talent showcase performances.
On-campus graduate housing is available at our on-campus graduate halls — Graduate Hall 2.
As demand for housing exceeds supply, only full-time graduate students may apply for graduate housing with new students on research programmes given priority.
Successful applicants may stay for a maximum period of one academic year.
