Medicine (MD)

The Medical University of Lublin offers a Medicine Degree program meeting national and EU standards and requirements of dental education.

The main aim of the Program of the Faculty is to provide education service within the field of medicine and dentistry. The Faculty offers stationary and non-stationary studies based on curricula accepted by the Faculty Board. After the 6-year Medicine Program, students are given the title of Physician. This program prepares students for individual work within a given profession and research work.

Admission requirements

High school graduates

Evaluation of applications from candidates for Medicine (MD) Program is performed on the basis of their high school diploma or the confirmation of the final secondary examination. The subjects required for admission are Biology and two subjects out of the following: Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. The grades/results for these subjects will be calculated into admission points as per the information attached below. The maximum number of points for all three subjects taken into consideration is 300. 


After positive verification of applicant’s documents, candidate would be invited to the Entrance Interview, which consist of questions divided into following categories: Motivation & Empathy and Teamwork & Career Aspirations. Entrance Interview is conducted online. The maximum number of points to be obtained in an Interview is 100.

In order to be eligible for admission candidates must obtain at least 60% of all application points recalculated from high school grades (obligatory Biology and two other subjects out of following: Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics) and at least 60% of points from interview [180 points from diploma and 60 interview points].
