McDaniel College Budapest
McDaniel College is a fully accredited private College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, located in Westminster, Maryland, USA. Its campus in Budapest is also fully accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools as well as by the Hungarian Authorities.
The McDaniel College Budapest Campus is offering two main program groups:
1. Pre-medical/veterinary studies:
- Two-semester course (October to May)
- Spring semester intensive course (January to May)
Hungary has a rich history of medical education and research. Universities in the medical and veterinary fields are very popular among foreign students, and the diplomas are accepted worldwide. Our mission is to prepare students for entrance examination primarily to Hungarian universities in Budapest, Pécs & Szeged with a close to 90% success rate for over 30 years.
2. U.S. accredited Bachelor of Liberal Arts (BLA) degrees with the following majors:
- Business Administration & Economics
- Political Science & International Studies
- Communication
- Psychology
- Art History & Studio Art
Upon completion of our program, students will be prepared for professional positions in business, international finance, global media, international marketing, design, or government and diplomatic service. Besides, there is an option to improve proficiency in English and Mathematics in the first year while taking regular classes. Also, students can change majors and pursue combine dual major programs in art & communication or business & economics.
Important Update: In-Classroom Learning
Due to the improved pandemic situation in Hungary, the pre-medical/pre-veterinary programs will officially be held on campus during the first semester in fall. However, the possibility of online/distance education will still remain available for the first semester.
