About this program
Get a 3-year BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture & Design!
Study in English Interior Architecture & Design at Marbella Design Academy in sunny Spain and be awarded an official Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Interior Architecture & Design by our partner, the University of Bedfordshire.
Starts twice per year, in September and in January.
This interior architecture & design program is taught in conjunction with the University of Bedfordshire, guaranteeing you the highest caliber of education in the interior design industry. Graduates have an employment rate near 100%.
You'll be taught using professional computer applications already from the first year of study. Advanced skills in these programs is a must for students to find employment.
Progressive, international staff will give you personal attention to help you cultivate your interior design skills. You'll gain experience using the latest technologies to enhance your employability once you graduate.
Through the bachelors in interior architecture & design program, you'll study:
- fundamentals of creative design
- communication design
- InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and 3D Studio Max
- design and art history
- furniture design
- design projects
You'll also have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through a work placement in a real world environment. Marbella has been recognized as one of the top design schools in the world, and you'll graduate with an outstanding foundation to jump-start your career as a designer.
September intakes (3 years of study): Three academic years beginning in September ending in June.
January intakes (2,5 years of study): Three academic years: 1st academic year begin in January and ends in the beginning of August.
2nd and 3rd academic year begin in September ending in June.
Our students achieve outstanding results; over 50% of our graduates of the last three years have been awarded a 1st Class with Honours degree award.
Admission requirements
Applicants wishing to enter the interior architecture & design program should meet the following requirements:
- A high school diploma or similar level education can enter the 3 years Design programs at the Marbella Design Academy.
- Completion of 3 GCSE subjects (A-C), including English.
- In the event a student possesses a proven outstanding artistic talent, has documented work experience for an extended period of time or has completed another education of minimum 2 years of duration, a discretionary exception from the above rules can be made.
- As part of the entry requirements of the programs at Marbella Design Academy, all students who do not have English as a first language, or who have not received a high school education in English, are required to provide evidence of English language proficiency at level 6 IELTS.
All international equivalent qualifications will be assessed and guidance will be taken from the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC).
- Applicants who do not fulfil the academic Entrance Requirements will be required to complete the Intensive Foundation Course Entrance Exam.

Fee per academic year: 11.500Euros.
500 euros: Registration Fee – to be paid first year only.
From September 2024:
14.000€ tuition fee per academic year, for both September and January intake. No administration fee required.
There is a limited amount of scholarship places available for up to 30% of the yearly tuition fee. For further info please complete an information request form.
Qualification
After graduation from Marbella Design Academy, you are awarded your official BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Design & Manufacture, validated and awarded by the University of Bedfordshire (UK).
Continuing studies
Graduated students can chose to start working in the industry or to continue for a Master in Interior Design at another university.
