BA International Hospitality Business Management
There are endless opportunities in the international hospitality industry. Restaurants, bars, the cruise or events industry, tourism, contract catering and hotels.
What’s more, much of the knowledge, skills and operational experience gained in these sectors can pave the way for a career in business, marketing, human resource management and finance.
You’ll start preparing for your career on day one. During induction week, you’ll learn about the exciting opportunities ahead. Placements, volunteering, events – there are lots of ways to make your CV stand out if you’re prepared to make the most of them.
We designed this course alongside our industry partners to make sure it delivers what employers are really looking for. Those same partners will be involved throughout your studies – from judging entries in competitions to giving talks on the latest issues.
This program has the following options:
- 3 years full-time
- 4 years with placement
- 4 years with overseas study

Manchester Met is offering a scholarship package of £2,000 for every year of study to international students accepted onto a full-time taught undergraduate program that starts in September 2020. If you meet the eligibility criteria, the scholarship will be awarded upon enrolment, no application is required.

Tuition fees
- Tuition fee for UK and EU students: £9,250 per year.
- Tuition fee for Non-EU International and Channel Island students: £16,500 per year.
Qualification
A 3 year degree qualification typically comprises of 360 credits (120 credits per year).
- Test your skills - take part in competitions including the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII) awards, the EMCup and the HOTS competition where you’ll manage a virtual business.
- Engage on an international level - take advantage of our international links with organisations like American Hotel Academy (Romania) or International Management Institute (Switzerland).

International hotels are one obvious destination for many hospitality students, and with restaurants, spas, and golf courses there’s lots of variety in a hotel career.
