Program description

Master in Management (Financial Management Track)

The  Financial Management Track balances a strong technical background in finance with a managerial perspective, focusing on the strategic management of a firm's assets.

It prepares graduates for professional careers in the financial sector, including banking, corporate finance, and investments. Finance professionals are highly sought after, often following career paths that lead to senior-level roles in organizations.

Finance is a broad and innovative discipline that evolves rapidly in across-border context, an essential medium and tool set through which commerce, business and society operates. Banks, insurers and asset managers are the exemplars of financial services, but the underlying concepts and critical analysis have broader application.

The purpose of businessis advancing long-term share holder value within the constraints imposed by law and regulation: finance is the core to measuring, achieving and advancing that aim across the life cycle of any business,in any industry that intermediates capital, and in governmental and other public sector applications.

Finance skills facilitate many well-remunerated and entrepreneurial careers, intersecting particularly with ideas of law and governance at more senior levels such as at C-suite and board.

Major centres, such as London, New York, HongKong and Singapore are core areas of employment, with regional centres in various emerging markets such as Shanghai and Mumbai, and activity in regional hubs such as Luxembourg.
