Toxicology (Including Foundation Year) BSc (Hons) (Full-time)
London Metropolitan University
Program description
Toxicology (Including Foundation Year) BSc (Hons) (Full-time)
Our Toxicology (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) is a four-year degree that is designed as an alternative route into higher education – ideal if you don’t meet the necessary requirements to enter the standard three-year degree. The knowledge you’ll build during your foundation year will ensure you’re well-equipped to succeed in the subsequent three years of your toxicology course.
You’ll graduate fully prepared to enter a number of specialist areas within toxicology, such as pharmaceuticals or forensics. You’ll also receive the same award and title as students on the standard three-year course.
On our Toxicology (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) degree you’ll learn the fundamentals of cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemistry, human anatomy and cellular processes. By the end of your course you’ll have the ability to interpret and analyse data, with a deeper understanding of the negative effects chemicals can have on the human body and the processes of cells.
Admission requirements
In addition to the University's standard entry requirements, you should have:
