London Metropolitan University
Program description
Sports Therapy (Including Foundation Year) BSc (Hons) (Full-time)
Our Sports Therapy (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) degree is a four-year course with a built-in foundation year (Year 0). It’s designed to help you enter an undergraduate degree in sports therapy if you don’t hold the necessary requirements or traditional qualifications to begin the standard three-year course. We'll introduce you to the field of sports therapy and explore how it relates to physiology, anatomy, psychology and coaching.
On graduation you’ll receive the same title and award as students on the standard three-year course.
On our Sports Therapy (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) course, you'll gain an excellent understanding of how sports therapists assess, treat and rehabilitate sports injuries in order to help increase performance or prevent injury. A particular feature of the course is that you’ll also get hands-on experience through our fully equipped sports therapy clinic, which is open to the public for consultation and treatment.
