Medical Sciences (Two-year Accelerated Degree) BSc
The Medical Sciences course enables you to gain a full BSc university degree in just two years, which means you'll be a whole year ahead of your peers, an advantage that will kick-start your medical science career.
This course not only offers the chance to graduate a year ahead of your peers, for those interested in other medical science related careers, it creates opportunities to enter the professional job market early.
You could work in areas as diverse as the medical and allied research institutes, health agency laboratories, bioanalytical medical genetics and forensic units, the pharmaceutical industry and health and safety.
You'll graduate with a deep understanding of health and disease, as well as technical and transferable skills in a range of specialist areas.
Admission requirements
In addition to the University's standard entry requirements, you should have:
- a minimum of grades BBB in A levels with B in Biology and B in Chemistry (or 120 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification)
- GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade C/grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
