Aquatic Ecology - Master's Degree
This important Master of Science program from Linnaeus University will help future researchers and decision makers contribute to the better management of the world's water resources. The intensive and advanced program is international and multidisciplinary, covering current topics in aquatic microbiology, marine ecology and environmental policies.
The program also covers:
- Advanced systematics
- Resources and ecology of marine waters
- Function and evolution of different aquatic systems
- Newest molecular advances in the field
- Simulation modelling and ecological applications
In the second year of study students will carry out a written thesis in fields related to research interests at the Marine Science Centre at Linnaeus University.
General entry requirements for second-cycle studies and specific entry requirements:
- 90 credits in Biology/Ecology/Microbiology, including an independent project/degree project worth at least 15 credits or the equivalent.
- English B/6 or equivalent.
