About this program
MSc Protein Science
Detailed knowledge of proteins and other biomolecules is crucial to our understanding of living processes. By studying protein science, you will be prepared for challenges such as unveiling the molecular causes of disease, designing tools for early and reliable diagnosis, and finding effective therapies.
This master’s program will give you deep insights into mechanisms of protein action, based on complex structural aspects and mediated through binding dynamics, selectivity, and catalytic function. You will also study pharmacology and drug development.
Admission requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a major in the field of chemistry, chemical biology or equivalent. The Bachelor's degree (equivalent to a Swedish Kandidatexamen) shall be from an internationally recognised university.
- 10 ECTS credits passed in the field of biochemistry.
- English corresponding to the level of English in Swedish upper secondary education (English 6/B). This is normally attested by means of an internationally recognised test.(Exemption from Swedish)
The deadline for submitting the online application is the 16th of January. The deadline for submitting all supporting documentation is the 1st of February. Documents that are submitted after the deadline will make the whole application late, and possibly not considered for most of the programmes.
