Bachelor of Engineering Technology
Engineers find intelligent solutions to technological problems and using distinct entrepreneurial skills they are capable of coaching themselves and others. Our graduate engineers are big-picture thinkers with the ability to see complex problems from a systemic and integrated perspective.
The Bachelor of Engineering Technology is an academic bachelor's programme consisting of three programme stages with a total of 180 ECTS.
The Bachelor’s programme comprises a common programme of three semesters that offer basic, scientific-technological training in the four major basic sciences: physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics. Plus a specific programme of 3 semesters designed for your major of choice.
STRENGHTS:
On this programme, engineering experiences are open and cross-disciplinary assignments, making you familiar with the engineering practice within different domains.
You will take on challenging projects in teams and sharpen your engineering and design skills. These experiences are presented annually in an Engineering Experiences Competition.The Faculty of Engineering Technology maintains close ties with universities around the world. AtCampus Group T, more than 20% of the engineering students are international students. They represent 65 different nationalities. This network extends from Europe to China, Southeast Asia, India, Ethiopia and beyond.

Tuition Fee 2019-2020
The current tuition fee is € 938.80 for EEA students and € 6,000 for non-EEA students. The tuition fee for the 2020-2021 academic year will be determined in the spring of 2020. Please consult the website for the most recent information: kuleuven.be/tuitionfees.

The following fields are open to you: research and development, production, sales, services, safety and consulting within industrial, governmental, academic, and private sectors.
As an engineer with an internationally oriented education you will be well suited for a career at management level, and to implement your own business idea. Many graduates continue on to their PhD studies.
