Program description

This programme is aimed at highly motivated graduates who wish to become a registered adult nurse and achieve an MSc in an accelerated 2 year timeframe. It will utilise an enquiry based learning approach which will build on students' existing graduate skills for learning and will be underpinned by a student centred philosophy. It will also encompass shared learning with other disciplines and professions, developing clinical leadership skills and preparing students for professional adult nursing practice. The programme will focus on quality care, clinical skills, leadership and will be designed to be both research intensive and research informed. Students will learn the pivotal roles of nurse and client, while developing their nursing skills and building their knowledge of professional and ethical practice.
