Program description

BA in Psychology

The programme is practice oriented, focuses on the development of core competencies in psychology and includes diverse opportunities for professional self-reflection. Students learn about theories, methods and applications of principles in major fields of psychology (general, personality, developmental, and social psychology). They will be offered an insight into conducting, analysing and applying psychological research with the opportunity to participate in ongoing research projects. During the programme, students will acquire a wide range of interpersonal and professional skills which may pave the way to their entry-level career options in psychology and provide a basis for further studies in Psychology MA programmes throughout the European Higher Education Area.

  2. B2 CEFR-level internationally recognised English language exam certificate (equivalent to Cambridge English First (FCE)/ BEC Vantage/ IELTS 5.5-6.5/ TOEFL iBT 66-82 / Michigan ECCE/ PTE General Level 3/ PTE Academic 59-75/ Trinity ISE II),
  3. Curriculum Vitae (CV),
  4. Motivation letter,

  6. Payment of the application fee (non-refundable cost): 50 EUR/programme paid in 10 working days after filling the application form.

We have a face-to-face (skype) interview as an entrance exam.

  1. Stipendium Hungaricum
    Founded by the Hungarian Government in 2013, the programme is supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. It is based on bilateral education agreements between Hungary and the governments of the sending countries, and is already available on five continents in approximately 70 countries, attracting more than 5000 international students each year.

    This scholarship was founded in 2017 by the Government of Hungary.   3. Károli Christian Scholarship
    Our University founded this scholarship in 2019 to provide the opportunity of studying in Hungary for young Christian students from certain countries in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

  4. Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship
