Production Engineering and Management
The master's programme in product systems, specialisation in product engineering and management is a full-time, two-year master's programme (120 credits) which provides you with skills to carry out engineering work and manage improvements in a production system
This master's programme prepares you with knowledge regarding flexible and adaptive production systems that can proactively respond to industrial changes.
The programme builds knowledge in manufacturing strategies including reconfigurable production systems, production engineering and automation. Graduates will be provided with methods and tools used for improving production solutions. Aspects of management are included in many of the courses, providing skills in leading and integrating production engineering during a new product realisation process. Graduates will be highly skilled engineers with sustainable, innovative mindsets for future development of a complex and digitalized industry.
Admission requirements
The applicant must hold the minimun of a bachelor´s degree (i.e the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) with at least 90 credits in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and management, civil engineering, or equivalent. The bachelor’s degree should comprise a minimum of 15 credits in mathematics and 15 credits of independent, theoretical based work, i.e. a thesis or the equivalent.” Proof of English proficiency is required.
