The course starts by launching a global festive challenge: plan and design a summer music festival. The first part of the course is dedicated to planning the event: the type of music, audience and artists involved. We’ll be working in teams to unleash a collective creative spirit as we get to know each other and the interests we share.
The next Interior Design module introduces us to spatial design as we plan the event, the spaces in the layout, along with the setting and style of the music festival.
In the Graphic Design module we’ll be designing the visual communication for the festival: posters, flyers and the logos; we’ll be creating the products and merchandising in the Product Design module.
In the Fashion Design module we’ll be upcycling as we design outfits for the festival staff, artists and audience. Last but not least, we’ll introduce participants to the festival layout using VR tools.
