Msc in Management (English or Portuguese)
The ISCTE Business School’s MSc in Management is a competences oriented programme designed for those who have a first degree in business studies or areas alike. Our main objective is to provide them with in-depth up-to-date knowledge and skills so to enhance their capabilities to thrive in the modern business world.
As a matter of fact, society and business environments challenge constantly the managers to lead for innovation and to entrepreneurship. The MSc in Management is thought and conceived to train future leaders to effectively lead, to develop vision and to build bridges with stakeholders. On the other hand, a wide range of electives are offered to provide the students an opportunity to shape their professional vocation.
Information regarding COVID-19
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Portuguese government has temporarily closed all schools and universities from March 12th 2020.
In light of this, ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa will be suspending face-to-face classes and offering all programs remotely instead. For more information about this, please contact the university.
Admission requirements
The requirements for admission in the MSc in Management are:
- A bachelor degree awarded by an university or institution of higher education in the area of management, business or alike;
- Sound proficiency in the English language;
- The results of an applicant's GMAT or GRE exam, although not obligatory, may enhance the chances of being admitted.
The following documents must be uploaded into the online application form:
- Diploma/Transcript of Records from the bachelor's degree awarded by a university or institution of higher education in the area of management, business or alike;
- ID card/Passport
- Photo
- Proficiency in the English language (optional);
- The results of GMAT or GRE exam (optional)

Objectives
The MSc in Management proposes a continued studies option for graduate students in the areas of management or similar, and has the general objectives of:
- Improving students' knowledge about central topics in management sciences;
- Developing specialised competences in topics convergent with the students' interests and professional expectations, which might contribute towards de production of a final research project;
- Endowing students with research methodologies, procedures and techniques, which enable them to develop their research project with a high degree of autonomy.

Tuition Fees for students in the European Union 2019/2020 is 7.350 EUR
Tuition Fees for students outside of the European Union * 2019/2020 is 9.800 EUR
