There are many on-campus amenities including six libraries and state-of-the art sports facilities including a 25-meter swimming pool used during Olympic trials. There is also a games room complete with air hockey, table tennis, video games, a theater and multiple on-campus dining venues. Students may also access cutting-edge technology such as 3D Printing and virtual reality simulators.
Scholarships & funding
Undergraduate students need to submit transcripts and Proof of English Proficiency to receive scholarships. SAT or ACT scores are NOT required for admissions scholarships. A full-ride scholarship is available in our Honors College. For graduate students, each program has different opportunities, so prospective students should contact their department of choice.

Student services & facilities
- International Student Services: you'll receive both an academic advisor to help you meet your educational goals and an immigration advisor to help with any visa-related issues;
- Six university libraries;
- Multiple sports and recreation fields, gyms, and other athletic facilities, including the IU Natatorium where Olympic trials are held for the US Swimming Team;
- On-campus accommodation available;
- International Peer Mentoring Program (IPMP): recognized by US News and World Report for its excellence, this program is designed for first-year international students to help them integrate into the IUPUI community.
This is a separate campus from the Indiana University and Purdue University main campuses. Students will be based in downtown Indianapolis instead of Bloomington or West Lafayette (both of those towns are 45-60 minutes away by car).

Our downtown location makes it easy to get an internship that will give you valuable experience. More than 1,200 IUPUI students have internships each year.
On-campus, there are over 300 different student organizations to help you meet and connect with other like-minded students.
- On-campus housing is a convenient option for students and includes social programs and academic support. Apply for housing by March 15, to be placed on the priority consideration list for on-campus housing;
- Off-campus housing includes several options near campus, and can be an economical option;
- International House is an on-campus residence for students from around the world who are interested in global issues;
