B.S. in Psychology
At Husson, students who choose to major in psychology may select an academic path that prepares them for entry-level employment in the growing mental health services or for graduate study.
Students may earn a more traditional psychology degree tailored to their own interests that prepares them for graduate study in one of many sub-fields of psychology. This includes clinical or counseling psychology, forensic psychology, sport psychology, developmental psychology, or experimental psychology.
Students may choose to take the Mental Health course list to prepare them to obtain the Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician / Community (MHRT/C) Certification in Maine.
Admission requirements
The following is required for admission to undergraduate degree programs:
- Completed application
- Graduation from an approved high school or credentials indicating equivalent preparation
- All previous college transcripts (even if no credit was earned or grades received)
- ACT or SAT I scores (if applicable)
