About this program
Study a European Master's in Sustainable Energy System Management in the Netherlands
Do you want to make a difference in realising energy transition from a business innovative perspective? The European Master in Sustainable Energy System Management responds to the great demand for professionals that understand the complexities of doing business in the energy field and can work in an interdisciplinary manner. You will learn to design and model innovative business plans, as well as assess and implement energy transition scenarios in the real world. The programme has a clear international focus, not only because of the international student community, but also because you follow the programme at different locations in Europe.
One of Europe’s biggest challenges is making the transition towards a sustainable energy system based on renewable energy. Business development in energy transition is a huge challenge because all energy projects are confronted with technological, economic, legal, social and environmental aspects. In order to deal with these complex issues, experts are needed that can design innovative business plans, evaluate these plans for their (technological) feasibility, convert them into projects and monitor their correct implementation. That is where you come in! With this master’s programme you acquire a solid foundation in sustainable energy system management at Hanze UAS and specialise in System Innovation Management (at Hanze UAS), Sustainable Energy Management (at the University of Zaragoza) or Sustainable Energy & ICT (at Howest UAS). The master’s programme is for students with a strong interest in business, sustainability and the energy industry.
