Goldsmiths, University of London

With an academic legacy dating back to 1891, Goldsmiths has a rich heritage in the arts and creative disciplines and offers degrees in subjects from the humanities and social sciences to computing and law. Students at Goldsmiths are encouraged to challenge preconceptions and traditional disciplinary boundaries and explore new ways of thinking about the world.

As part of the University of London for over 115 years, we have a rich academic heritage, but we’re constantly questioning, challenging and building on what we know.

Nearly three-quarters of the research carried out by academics at Goldsmiths was rated as ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’ in the last Research Excellence Framework (2014). We are top 10 in the UK for our research intensity (The Complete University Guide League Tables 2021).

Our mix of students, who come to study with us from around 140 countries, gives us five stars for internationalisation (QS World University Rankings, 2020).
