Bachelor of Business in Hotel and Catering Management (L7)

The Bachelor of Business in Hotel & Catering Management is a three-year full-time program which offers a broad suite of subjects related to management within the hospitality industry from graduate entry level to the highest level of management. This dynamic program gives the learner an industry-focused curriculum which will address both theoretical and practical concepts of the hospitality industry. Teaching is delivered through a range of practical and academic learning styles to maximise the student learning experience. Lecturers who teach on this program are highly skilled professionals with many years industry experience.

Admission requirements

The minimum Leaving Certificate entry requirement for all higher certificates (Level 6) and ab initio bachelor degrees (Level 7) programs is Grade O6/H7 or better in five Leaving Certificate subjects including Mathematics and English or Irish with a minimum of 160 point.

English Language Requirements

  • Non-EU applicants: Non-EU applicants, who are not English speakers, must have a minimum score of 6.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS - Academic) or equivalent
  • EU applicants: EU applicants, who are not English speakers, are recommended to have a minimum score of 6.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS - Academic) or equivalent.
