Manufacturing Engineering Technology
Looking for a fun yet challenging career where you can use hands-on skills to solve problems? The Manufacturing Engineering Technology program will prepare you to work in all types of manufacturing industries designing and improving processes. You’ll develop a broad background and gain hands-on experience in many areas including manufacturing processes, automated manufacturing, computer-aided design and manufacturing, fixture and tooling design, and mechanical and electrical system design. Lean production principles, project management, engineering economic analysis and communication skills are also important parts of this program. Admission requirements
Skills Assessment
An academic skills assessment is required for admission into this program or the following: High School GPA of 2.75 or higher (last 10 years) OR provide completion of associate’s or higher degree OR; 165 or higher on your 2014 series GED tests OR; ACT OR SAT OR Accuplacer OR Companion OR Compass (last 3 years) to waive to the general education level; The cost of the Accuplacer assessment is $15.
